Early Career and Development
Dylan Chambost began his football journey in the youth ranks of AS Saint-Étienne, one of France’s storied clubs. He made his professional debut for Saint-Étienne on January 24, 2018, in a Coupe de France match against Troyes. During his initial stint with the club, he played 74 matches for Saint-Étienne B, scoring 20 goals from 2016 to 2019.
Rise to Prominence & Return to Saint-Etienne
In 2019, Chambost moved to Troyes, a Ligue 2 side at the time. His impact was immediate, helping the team secure promotion to Ligue 1 during the 2020-21 season by finishing at the top of the table. Over his tenure at Troyes, he appeared in 70 matches and scored two goals.
Chambost then returned to Saint-Étienne in 2022, where he continued to showcase his skills. He again played a crucial role in helping his team earn promotion back to Ligue 1, appearing in 61 matches and scoring nine goals.
