Disappointment in Columbus
Marino's time with the Crew will leave fans and the front office wanting more. The reported $2 million player never really showed too much promise. Hinestroza is known for his technical ability, vision, and versatility. His dribbling skills and creativity made him a unique addition to the team. However, he never really became the asset in midfield that the Crew needed.
Perhaps the Hinestroza moment that Crew will remember most vividly is when he let his frustration get the best of him and punched an LAFC player. His red card led to an ejection from the match and a suspension for the next match.
He appeared 22 times for the Black and Gold and recorded 2 goals. The U22 signing just never lived up to his full potential in Columbus.
As Hinestroza heads back home with the hope that he gets more playing time stay tuned for an official announcement with negotiations still in progress.
